I'd consider having to hit someone a failure in my own assessment of the situation, or handling thereof. I've CHOSEN to hit plenty of people -- during training, in the cage, etc -- but I haven't HAD to hit anyone, and hope I never do. I don't want someone else's injuries on my conscience.
