Is there a tutorial on how to promote dating sites? Adult or mainstream both are fine

I've started trying to promote some dating sites but my campaigns have been a disaster. I know there's a few factors that can be involved such as the offer, landing page, etc.. I was wondering if advertising dating sites as an affiliate is profitable at all now?
