Some of our affiliates that have cached webcam model images locally have had problems with the models, who may have Right Of Publicity » Brief History of RoP. The models contacted the affiliate directly to remove the images and threatened legal action against the affiliate (mostly bluff but a pain in the ass).

We request that our affiliates hot link to our webcam model images, for if the model would ask us for a "take down", we at our own discretion, and under no legal obligation, usually comply. This protects the affiliate also for reason that the image is 404.

Affiliates are granted limited rights to copyright content licensed or owned by sponsors.

We (*sponsors) have lawyers and money also different contracts with affiliates.

You make a lot of assumptions not based on experience.
