Mobile devices are 50% of the internet now. Flash will not load. And 3G and 4G have data caps. Bloated PC websites don't convert that traffic.

Heavy sites will convert on wireless tablets but you need to sort them well to the correct version. "Responsive" HTML5 is not the only factor.

Payment processing has to evolve to a mobile format in form method, wallet structure and in price points geared to the mobile market. Mobile carrier payments are not price competitive and not "porn friendly" in the largest potential (money) market, the USA.

I would expect most of these issues solved in the next few years. PC Desktop will account for only 20% of the market in 10 years -- mainly for business use. The mobile device and the big screen TV will become closely integrated entertainment devices and you will have to make web design work to that end.
