When people see the title of a thread they click on it because they're interested in that topic.

I never recall being asked by anyone to stay on topic in any thread here but I am sure you can provide the quoted posts of this happening or you would not have brought it up.
Maybe it was people on my ignore list or a year or so ago, please enlighten me?
