It's not the government that's at fault... It's the American people that have created the mess. Just like fast food you know it's bad but most Americans will joyfully stuff their faces because it's cheap & "tastes good".
Sure next election you'll vote Republican and in 4 to 8 years you'll be right back to complaining how bad things are. Nothing is going to change in the USA until the fundamental underlying culture that most Americans practices changes.
