Netflix has effectively legitimized streaming as a valid option for people who want an option against network cable. Roku has come along and serves as an aggregator of channels through a single interface. And yes, there are adult channels available on Roku.

Roku Adult » Roku Adult Channels

Now, while Roku does not officially list these channels, it is easy enough to add them. And that includes options to pay for the channel's subscription.

People have been conditioned by smartphones that $4.99 is a good price to pay for every little thing. Online adult channel subscriptions would likely follow suit if they were smart. Smart affiliates would work with producers to advertise their new streaming media channels. Even smarter affiliates would find a program and sell the Roku players as well, not to mention the HDMI cables

Frankly, I think the big winners will be the dating and cam sector. Once they get onto a streaming mainstream platform (since no sex is show on the free side), I think they'll make bank.
