Turns out the site was down because of assholes being assholes. From my host:
"Hey there Bernard. The server was getting hit pretty hard by a bot, but I should have this resolved for you at this time :]. If you have any further issues please let us know. Enjoy your weekend!"
That's what these fuckhats are like, and they wonder why people don't welcome them with open arms on their righteous crusade. If you disagree with what they do or their methods, you're a pedophile, pirate and they're liable to ddos your server. What a group of fuckheads these people are.
