In 1994, the JDL's sister movements Kach and Kahane Chai were both outlawed in Israel as terrorist organizations posing a threat to state security; they are also banned in the United States and the European Union.[14] "JDL Canada" remains legal,[15] despite sharing the ideology, goals and identical logo of the banned organization.[16] However, the French branch of the JDL, the Ligue de Défense Juive (LDJ), is not illegal in France.[17] Several JDL members and leaders died violent deaths, including Kahane himself.[18]

How, ironic: Some countries allow world condemned terrorist organizations free speech and even some -- diplomatic recognition.

You cannot reason with violent extremists.

Acquiescing to their "freedoms" is your own suicide -- as we have just witnessed. Was the formally imprisoned, then released, terrorist an Algerian citizen? Why wasn't he deported after release if that was the case?

US internment[edit]
According to United States Department of Defense records, al-Baghdadi was held at Camp Bucca as a "civilian internee" by US Forces-Iraq from February until December 2004, when he was recommended for release by a Combined Review and Release Board.[19][23] A number of newspapers and cable news channels have instead stated that al-Baghdadi was interned from 2005 to 2009. These reports originate from an interview with the former commander of Camp Bucca, Colonel Kenneth King, and are not substantiated by Department of Defense records.[24][25][26] Al-Baghdadi was imprisoned at Camp Bucca along with other future leaders of ISIL.[27]

Leopards don't change their spots and terrorists cannot be "reformed" and returned to society -- that belief is asinine.
