That said, my girl is a Sherrif's Deputy and works in the jail. While it's not the best environment, incidents like that aren't a daily occurrence. She's been bodyslammed and spent a few weeks recovering. But that comes with the territory.
She makes $90k a year to babysit people and comes home everyday with some great stories. Like yesterday, a child molester had one of his eyes gouged out of his head by another inmate with a 2 inch long pointed finger nail.

statistically, 10% of cops get assaulted, you're right, hardly a daily occurrence.
