You can't prove a negative when the objects aren't viewable or detectable making it impossible to falsify their existence since as far as we know they don't exist.

The point (and context) is that when challenged, he would argue that you can't prove ESP doesn't exist. You can't prove ghosts do not exist. You cannot prove telepathy doesn't exist. Just as, like it or not,... you cannot prove that God does not exist.
