I was always fascinated with poorer Chinese tourists coming to Eastern Russia and just randomly walking out into traffic to cross the street, holding their hand up as they walked as if they were great wizards, magically parting the red sea and freezing time for all the cars, to attempt to stop the traffic full of murderous assholes doing 60 mph. They always did it with such confidence and Russians at the time and in that part of the world, weren't exactly fond of traffic rules (of Chinese). It was so crazy to watch.
