TGPX is old and unsupported, and it wont be getting better over time. Free traffic trading scripts could be good. The new program by Mech Bunny would be perfect (it looks modern), but pricing per domain basis is a deal breaker for me. Something like this can be done with Wordpress too (traffic trading scripts can be combined with Wordpress too).

For most people the goal is to make money (obviously), and if I have to invest $2649 in 50 tgp domains, thats quite a lot of $$$. It can be done for free, and quality of websites should be the same.
