Of course, your idea of an Indian is what probably 99% of Indians look like - that's the stereotype ie a guy you will find at the counter in your local 7/11. You won't see someone like her much because she's a wealthy classes and moves in completely different circles and even if you did, you won't assume she is an Indian so it won't affect your stereotype at all.
India is a country with highest disparity between the rich and poor - there's a massive gap and its much, much bigger than in China.
