Haven't seen the movie but I will say this...
Clint Eastwood has made some of the best CRITIQUES of "heroism" movies Hollywood has seen in the last 50+ years.
Flags of our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima are both anti war and anti hero.
Unforgiven was a big F-U to the falsehoods of the western gunfighter as a "hero".
