I've seen this movie and I like it. I think many people think it is a propoganda and pro-war movie. But it's not. There's many aspects of this movie that are dark, disturbing, and very anti-war. The movie does not depict Chris Kyle as 100% hero. There's a spooky scene at the end where Chris Kyle walks around his house with a revolver and points it at his wife.
I do wish the movie covered some additional parts. Like the time he said he killed two carjcakers in Texas (never happened), or the time he said he was sniping off looters during Katrina (never happened), or the time he said he punched out Jessie Ventura (never happened and he got sued for defamation and lost). These events would actually fit into the movie to dipict Chris Kyle as a person who was damaged by the war.
