What I'd like to "reform" would be people in Washington D.C. (and in state and local govt.'s) spending money like there is no tomorrow. Not ever worrying if they actually HAVE that much to spend.
Deficit spending is destroying our country.
Do you think that paying more taxes from your pocket will "fix" things?
Do you actually think that your money will go towards the public good?
It won't. If you haven't noticed over the decades and decades of history that the Republicans and Democrats have been in power together...NOTHING ever gets "fixed".
But EVERYTHING requires MORE spending.
While you're so busy trying to come up with ways to make people give more of their hard-earned money to these lifetime/career bureaucrats...maybe you should be DEMANDING of your govt. to be responsible and not spend more than they have.
Can you even imagine if you just spent as much money as you wanted to and when the bill came due...claimed that you just need MORE money and that is the problem?
I ask you again...do you really want to be taxed MORE after seeing what the 2 party system has done so far?
The federal govt. has been bringing in record "revenue" (taxes) for years. And STILL they run a deficit every fucking year.
