It seems that EVERY candidate from both of the ruling parties MUST profess their love of Sweet Baby Jesus (even if they don't believe it).

I can't imagine George Washington or Thomas Jefferson professing their love of one religion (christianity) in order to get elected.

Matter of fact, the founding fathers were very specific about that NOT happening.
And yet...every politician MUST be seen attending church services (which are nothing more than a big gathering of superstitious people).
It's almost like we DEMAND that our politicians act retarded by pretending (or even believing like Mitt does) in childish superstitions.
To hell with what they are going to do for the country...the more important things are that they believe in Jesus and what their views on abortion are.
Nothing is more important it seems.
