I always thought that "poor people" were homeless people living in shelters and starving.
That isn't the case anymore with what society defines it as. These days...yeah "poor people" could be a person in college (paying expensive tuition), driving a car, owning a cellphone, having cable t.v. , etc. , etc.
My point is...crockett is a hypocrite. He constantly babbles about how the Koch Brothers are behind everything that is "bad" and Republicans don't care about the "poor".
And yet...when confronted with a story concerning a family that is "poor", he berates them.
He insinuates that they are part of the NRA. Even though this family couldn't even afford to pay the dues to be a member.
They ARE the very people whom the govt. "helps" by keeping them in poverty through welfare.
In crockett's fevered brain...we MUST tax people MORE. That way the govt. can "help" the "poor" people.
But then when confronted with real life "poor" people, he dismisses them with a snide remark.
I'm pointing out that being poor isn't a pretty site. And the people who are terminally poor (staying on govt. assistance for years and years) are not going to be the best and brightest in the world.
crockett is a hypocrite plain and simple. He can attack and run his dick-skinners all day long. But at the end of the day...he's a hypocrite who only wants to feel good about himself without ever actually doing anything other than making smartass remarks about the very people he claims to want to help.
