There seems to be two Wikipedia pages about the same subject. Although latter is more pagan.

Around here midsummer celebration is probably most celebrated event after christmas. "Nightless night", bonfires, heavy drinking and if you are lucky; some fucking. "In folk magic, midsummer was a very potent night and the time for many small rituals, mostly for young maidens seeking suitors and fertility."
