I'd love to be a fly on the wall and watch you doing that. I'm maintaining a tumblr blog for years, with carefully selected posts, self-written texts, following lots of people and I've still below 3000 followers. You get to know personally some nice people, but becoming 'tumblr famous' in just a week?
Besides that: Tumblr discourages 'follow trains'. Their community guidelines list everything that could make you get banned. (Dang. I must not post its URL here since I'm still a freshman!
