A study of more than 4,000 adults in Canada showed that past exposure to several vaccines, including the flu vaccine, was linked to a
decreased chance of developing Alzheimer's.
A report in the Nov. 3, 2004, JAMA found that annual flu shots for older adults were associated with a reduced risk of death from all causes.
