Why would I as joe blow surfer decide to fork over even $5 to you, as a one time fee, for something that is free essentially everywhere else. You wont have a huge TGP so you wont have search engine traffic or type ins, so people who find your TGP will most likely have seen others, so what about the actual content or delivery will make them sign up. I think thats the key point your missing.

i havent been in tgp business before, although have a grasp how it works
in the recent past i've been doing some work regarding TGPs and got me thinking about huge free archives, that would not hurt market if these archives be accessed for a little fee, i have no solid business plan and marketing model, this thought is very fresh and raw to me, before investing more i wanted to see feedback and whether its considerable by others
from what i've got so far, i know other people thinking about same thing and already have scatches on paper.
i think if guys pay 30-40/m for paysites considering there are tons of free stuff already (yes i'm aware of difference between paysites and free stuff), i'm sure low cost alternatives can produse some cash flow too
