As someone who runs 80+ paysites and has worked with a number of couples in this business let me give you the Best Advice I can here:
NO ONE can run all three aspects of an adult web business purely by themselves. You can run TWO of these three things, but not all three:
Create content
Manage the website (webmaster)
Get traffic/grow the biz
Sure some can do it FOR AWHILE but inevitably it leads to tension and break-ups. So choose which two areas of this biz you want to focus on and get someone else to handle the third thing. Most couples can shoot their own content and maybe run their own site but need help with traffic. Some couples are Webmasters and traffic gurus but do not shoot content.
Thing is, when you are a couple shooting content, and it turns into a business, at first you are so happy! Look at all the money coming in! But then the pressure to build it, grow it and keep it going starts to mount and then suddenly you find yourself having to fuck for a living (to keep the site going) and not because you are happy and in love anymore. At that point, it's only a matter of time before you split. And then the real headaches begin!
So if you want to stay together try and partner with someone more experienced who could help you navigate these issues. BEST of luck to you both!!
