At first I was thinking nah, but then he did lay out a compelling argument. Not so sure on the price, but Apple has been known to overpay for things they want if they feel it will be a strategic fit. Look no further than Beats. Plus they'd possibly get Elon Musk onboard. It was partly be a talent play, just like they wanted and got Dre and Jimmy in the Beats deal.
