So, this Homo erectus didn't come from Africa?

Well, that theory is quite bullshit anyway, and far from what you claim being "not from Africa". For starters it is very unlikely that we would have evolved such alike from such far away specie in our evolution three. And besides, that theory suggests that there was much interbreeding between species, aka between these local populations evolved from Homo erectus and between Homo sapiens (besides genetic studies don't support that). So, what part is not coming from Africa?

And the counterargument from the supporters of that theory is that the genetic material from those outside populations of Homo erectus has been lost in genetic drift or selective sweep. So anyways, the result is the DNA of Homo sapiens (+ tad Homo neanderthal, etc.), aka that folk that most recently left from Africa.
