You obviously want someone to tell you to do X, Y and Z. That's great, but considering your join date, what do you have to offer in return? I'm guessing not too much.

Uh Uh. Been around for a long long time.
No one wants to share secrets...bingo...you are right. I too am not interested in sharing my secrets. I am however interested in discussing the merits of different program offerings with like minded webmasters/program owners with similar experience. No secrets revealed by either party... just solid business discussions.
For example, last week I asked if anyone had done any testing between Pay Per Order and Percentage payments with AFF. I also stipulated that I was looking for opinions from people who were clearing at least 10 paid memberships per day. Anything less, I do not feel would offer any statistically significant data. Would we share anything that would reveal our traffic or advertising strategies, uh uh.
I am a member of another forum where people discuss google and bannings. Same problem there. You will get a thread where webaster A says they were banned. Then Webmaster A goes on to say that they were banned for reason x. And then all the other members jump on board, assuming that if they too do x then y will happen. Could they be right, maybe. But would the opinions provided by webmasters with large networks offer a more statistically significant and potentially correct cause and effect. Yep.
