Pull-up bar and two hand weights (not fixed weight) will get you far, in addition to exercises where you don't need any tools. Most important things are consistency and rest, so make things as easy as possible for yourself (within reason of course), so that you will actually do the exercises, and exercise only every other day at the hardest. I suggest resting "totally", not like many do; as they do upper body one day and legs at the other. Your legs or upper body are not separated from your body as a whole.
You have to get rest.
