The trick will be is for the drone to shoot so its shadow is not in the shot.

Helicopters are often so high you do not see the shadow.

But even on this demo film the shadow from the drone was seen (though it may have meant to be to prove the drone was shooting).

It will probably make a nich business for people to just be drone camera operators, such as from TV to weddings.

I wonder how long it will be, before drone operators start getting there own baftas type things.

Even for shots that would normally be hand held or low down on a track may be soon done with drones, simply because they will be so smooth, low cost, less hassle, ease to set up.

I can see very soon, drones in churches shooting weddings.
