There are steps that you can take on Wikipedia to have reviews of page wars, edit wars or abuse.

Beyond that I am not sure what you can do. As an open system it's able to be abused. Wikipedia will moderate the pages of particularly sensitive, abused or repeatedly mis-edited subjects.
There's several things to consider, the primary thing will be the importance of the page. If it's a page on an unknown band it's going to receive less moderation than the page on Israel (which is continually attacked by vandals and propagandists).
