So he hasn't had a seizure in more than 4 years and he was cleared by his doctor, plus his instructors (who probably know more than you about skydiving) were aware of the circumstances and allowed him to go. No, they should have asked a third world dirt farmer with barely two brain cells to rub together and the life experience of a fucking rock. Sure.

See, dirt farmer, like just about everything in life, I know more about skydiving than you do. I've actually done it, and I know exactly what the Progressive (sometimes called advanced) Freefall Program is. Almost all modern equipped skydivers have an AAD (look it up, moron) on their reserve chute. As a student, he almost certainly had one on his main chute too.

What that means, you sack of potatoes, is if he was still falling after a preset altitude, his main chute would have automatically fired. If he was STILL falling after that, his reserve would have automatically fired. Not an ideal situation to land unconscious, but not so dramatic as morons with no real idea what they're talking about might think.

Actually, I'm sorry I have to apologize for calling you a sack of potatoes. A sack of potatoes could be made in to a bunch of french fries which makes them useful, where as you have no uses at all.
