Global warming deals with the ENTIRE Planet Earth, not just a few states in the mid west or new england.. The AVERAGE temperature of the entire planet is rising. Due to this there will be weather extremes both cold and warm across the entire planet.
This has been stated over and over by scientists yet it seems to fall on death ears with certain people usually belonging to a certain political party... it's sad that 3rd graders likely have a better grasp on what global warming is vs some adults whom love to pretend it doesn't exist.

3rd graders don't - they just don't question what they're told. The earth's climate is poorly understood. It may be that man is having an effect on the earth's climate; it may not be the case. There is no proof, and at present, no way to actually put the question to rest. For the moment, it is best to move towards greater sustainability, gently, without alarm, and without enriching those who declare themselves ready to solve the problem they don't completely understand. The unfortunate attachment of apparent absolute certainty to schadenfreude surrounding the USA makes the arguments less compelling, not more so. In general, is it not best to be careful and deliberate when influencing the lives of billions?
