There was nothing really bad about that function..... other than a few who were consistently crying that they were getting neg rep'ed all the time. Normally trolls anyway. They should not have gotten rid of it in the first place. They should simply turn it back on.
Whether it's likes, or reputation, either one will give you the same results. A few trolls crying.
