why, because an ipad runs iOS and only runs "apps" not "real desktop" programs, like photoshop for example. With a touch screen PC running full windows like the Surface Pro 3 does, you have a instant touch screen wacom tablet. IE you cab run full programs not shitty 99 cent apps..
