We may have to agree to disagree on this one. I personally think the lines of racism in this country run a lot deeper than many people would like to think.
I think there are a lot of people who are racist and either don't admit it or may not even realize it and it angers them to see anyone have something that they can't even if they don't really want it or care to have it.
Sure, there is plenty of hypocrisy in this arena but at the end of the day for me it comes down to this. Ask yourself this question. If you could say racist stuff and there would be no repercussions for your words would you do it? If the answer is no, then ask yourself why you give a shit what others can or cannot say because even if you could do that you wouldn't. It's like wanting to be given a crate full of cottage cheese even if you hate cottage cheese.
