A fat person can call themselves a slob in the privacy of their own home or to themselves, but if they call their fat friend a slob it is a different thing.
Here's my logic. The minute you insist on special treatment of some sort you set yourself apart and you put yourself in a position to be offended and potentially discriminated against. I feel like you can't have it both ways. You can't say, "My friends and I can call each other rednecks, but you can't call me a redneck." That's horseshit. It's you purposely creating a double standard. If you don't want people calling you a redneck, then don't call your friends rednecks.
