Well, actually the most alcohol consuming folk buy their alcohol from Estonia (much cheaper), but yes, we have fucking expensive alcohol. I don't know about the suicide department; but it is cold and dark in here and economy isn't doing that well right now (relatively). This was populated by us because the cold and dark isn't for everyone. You know, ecological niche.
I don't really know about the suicides; not my thing, but life in here has been historically quite hard, it really is not for everyone.
