1) They are targeting the Russian oligarchs personally. For example, I'm not an oligarch, so don't give a shit about them.

In fact the so-called US "sanctions". Works for propaganda purposes only. On both sides. Obama makes idiotic statements on how his "sanctions" affected Russian economics. The US rednecks are happy. Putin's propaganda TV is also happy to screen those Obama's statements to Russian rednecks with comments like: "See guys, all those problems with ruble are because of Obama - he is a motherfucker who you have to blame with that. This has nothing to do with Putin who made the Russian economics totally dependent on oil prices. Oil prices have nothing to do with ruble rate. Putin is a hero. Obama is an evil."

This how the US "sanctions" really work. They work as a propaganda for the weak-minded Americans and Russians only. And you my friend, is one of them. Because you were brainwashed too.
