I think that may be the idea. These types of games are going for more and more reality, and the reality of war is that it's not fun times, killing, destroying and blowing things up, racking up points etc, while reaching for a sip of beer or a handful of preztels. I'd imagine real war IS pretty damned taxing on your psyche right to the inner core. Never been in one myself but I've known many who have, all of whom say they aren't the same person they were beforehand.

I agree.
You play as a group of refugees.
And by depressing I mean: As depressing as a game can be and still be called a game
But I really do recommend it, for me it was like a slap to the face, busting all the glamour built up by movies and video games about war.
It's a one of the kind
