It can also be just aging - 38 doesn't seem that old to me, but sitting in front of the pc can deteriorate your vision pretty good - causing stress on your eyes.

As you get older your eyes get..... for lack of a better term - "tired" Try some cheap reading glasses... If that don't help then by all means go see a doctor... vision loss is nothing to fuck with... wish you luck.
