Some of them want to use you. Some of them want to get used by you. Some of them want to abuse you. Some of them want to be abused.
The object of attachment in any power exchange fantasy seems almost arbitrary to me. That's probably why there's less money overall in trying to figure out why people do what they do or "correcting" the behavior, than in actually supplying the means to do it.
