As for the location, Tampa Bay is not a sexy area, period. I get it. Working past that, there is no centralized gay neighborhood/district as there is in many real cities where one might easily find a crop of fresh faces. It's nothing but a sprawl of subdivisions, a massive concrete shanty town, connected by an ill-conceived network of roads and bridges with an obstacle course of mentally impaired retirees and snowbirds clogging every path. 20 minutes seems to be the maximum commute before a potential model decides it's just too much trouble.
As for the so-called stigma, I could literally run out of sperm and wear my dick down to a painful nub from screwing hot guys off-camera who think it's some sort of feather in their cap to bump nasties with an entry-level, self promoting and producing performer. But ask to turn on the camera, and suddenly everyone is worried about what would happen if their mother saw it (cuz mom spends her free time cruising gay cam and porn sites?) or ruining their potential runs for senate at some point in the future. If even 10% of the guys I've pitched who worry about potential public careers being ruined by appearing on cam actually go into a career in politics, then prepare for a nation run by native Floridians. Fucking scary thought that, eh?
As for the pay, no it's really NOT that bad. I am admittedly small-town, but I can offer up to a couple hundred bucks a day for the right guys who have the right reliable, pragmatic approach. It beats sweating balls at a tiki bar on the beach slinging drinks for the aforementioned retarded retirees and snowbirds. But, candidates often seem to have bought into the hype around the handful of contract players making thousands of dollars every time they drop a load, and feel they deserve the same. Right, Charlie. 'Cuz you and Pierre Fitch, almost separated at birth.
Rant complete.
