I did not intend for this to become a witch-hunt. I realize now I should have contacted him privately and given him the chance to fix the issue and failing that brought the issue here. In my defense, though, this was a bit of a hot-button topic for me provided our past history, and I was kind of incensed at the time.
As I said above, I have been in implausible scenarios that were not at all what they appeared, so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt here. Intentional or not, I think he knows he's burned through his second chances and he's going to be under a lot of scrutiny from here on out.
Ruff - I assume you're the same Ruff whose program he bought, meaning you aren't all that impartial. Even if it was an honest mistake that doesn't change the fact that the mechanism was in place to shaft referring affiliates - perhaps unknowingly, but there nonetheless. Trying to make this out to be some sort of smear campaign is disingenuous.
Mr. Nerd - I see now that I should have messaged you about this privately and allowed you to rectify the situation without it becoming such a public spectacle. The good news is that if you're too busy, there are now lots of people who will be watching it for you.

Sorry, I thought that was funny.
Sending you a PM with an idea that might help your case (or it might bury you) after I send this.
