Not true. Hate to sound like the anti-Paul Markham here but TRAFFIC is King. Content? You can pay for that, shoot great stuff, all HD (even 4K)...and if you can't get any TRAFFIC to it then it's useless.
BUT if you have tons of traffic you can sell almost anything (including the traffic). Sites with amazing 4K UHD content are struggling. Niche sites are struggling. No, it's about getting quality TRAFFIC and "quality" is getting harder and harder to find. Just my opinion, of course.
