There were some greener pastures when I was starting my business. I'm sure a regular job in my field at that time would have been easier than building a business and using my every waking moment to work on my business and spend a LITTLE time with my children in between when I could during the day. Yes there were greener pastures, but no where near as green the pasture I planted, , watered, weeded, fertilized and continue to grow.

Had I quit and went to what I THOUGHT were green pastures then, I'd never know how green the pastures could have been and would have been had I not quit.

I have not noticed the industry cannibalizing because I own a phone sex company and it's a little different. We are kind of off in our own little bubble so when something affects porn in general, it really doesn't affect what we do.

I think the point was however that these "has beens" are a great wealth of knowledge and still very respected.
