I consider macro ratios (carbs, fat protein) while adjusting calories as per my goals and activity level. When I'm gaining weight I eat 3500 cals a day, 40p/40c/20f, when I'm on a cut, 1800-2000, 50p/25c/25f.

Bad food always makes me feel like shit. So I avoid it mostly with the exception of family functions.
