They had child soldiers, kinda different thing than murdering childrens. Or if we go to that road; allied countries, including US killed hundreds of thousands childrens in WWI and some thousands during WWII. I didn't even count the civilian victims into this, just soldiers. Though allies had children soldiers too, but in lessen amount, so Germany killed kid soldiers too, but less. Another though, Britain alone had about 250 000 child soldiers through the war. Germany's number was much bigger. So, probably millions of child soldiers got killed or wounded in WWI alone.
