NameSilo is a good company, consistent pricing, easy to navigate, I like them

Two good things I like about GoDaddy is they make it pretty smooth and easy to transfer domains from them and basically there is no wait time, takes about a hour and a few clicks the transaction is complete, second thing with GD is if you find a good coupon the first year is pretty cheap, a buck or two, as far as renewing through them they are pretty steep.

Now NameCheap that is a whole different story they want to make the whole transfer process confusing and make you wait the full time before they let the domain go.
