I think most people, specially those on the East Coast don't understand how bad it really is..

This was in Texas last summer, I forget what lake it was. That's a boat ramp and it was obviously well out of the water. In fact the water was a few thousand feet away. Where I took this picture was likely 10ft under water at the time that boat ramp was last used.




I think it's been quite a while since boats were left unattended here..




It was like this all over the place in Texas and there were next to no open boat ramps on any of the lakes unless it was on a River with water level controlled by dams.


This was a waterfall at a previous time, not too long ago..
