The weed here in the States is FAR different than the weed I smoked throughout Europe. In the Czech Republic I found what I considered to be "pure" sativa simply because the leaves were long and thin, the entire bud was long and thin, and the effect was similar to a cocaine buzz. LOL Tons of energy, rapid thinking, non-stop talking, etc. I kind of didn't like it because it reminded me of my old coke days (daze?). LOL
I find hydro and indoor plants pack the most punch and most of the stuff I smoked in Europe tasted/felt like outdoor grows. Who knows? Here in the States I basically ignore 'sativa'/'indica' and just go with this:
The lighter the color green - the closer to a light white/lime color - the stronger it kicks my ass. The darker green/brown it is the less I like it. And don't even get me started on the Purples....
Biggest issue? When I DO find a strain I adore - like Blue Dream - each crop is slightly different so it's hard to find that 'perfect' consistent product. Comes with the territory of being a plant, I suppose.
